Flower shop site & app
Project Overview: The goal is to design an online shop that is transparent to the users about the service/products they are receiving because Consumers lack trust in online stores to ensure the quality they are getting when ordering flowers.
User Persona
Shirl is a Loving Mother of Seven who needs Transparency from online services when ordering a product because certain services are more convenient online but for good quality we have to go out in person.
User Research: Pain Points
Transparency
When ordering online it is a big risk when making sure the service/product has great quality and not having the customers accept whatever they ordered.
Reviews
Being able to see customer reviews with picture brings more trust to other consumers when selecting products/service.
Sitemap
Sitemap was made to just visualize how the order of pages will flow on the website. Pages options will be clear and precise on what is available for customers to provide transparency.
Wireframes
Important features to acknowledge are clear and direct prompts on the site for ease of use and transparency to the user.
I then conducted an unmoderated usability study with 3 participants for 15-20 minutes, here were the key findings:
"Customer Feedback"
Users stated that there should be much more clarity in the review section or even make a specific page dedicated to customer feedback.
"Product Description"
Users wanted more details in the product description. especially if they would be ordering online and wont be able to see product in person.

Originally the reviews just showed how many stars this product recieved.
Real Customer Reviews
Now, under each product there is a dedicated section for customers to leave their own photos and write their own reviews on the product.
Final Solutions
Challenges & Takeaways
Challenges were making sure color scheme fits the theme of the site but also did not strain the eyes of the users. Takeaways were that reviews from other customers makes the users feel more comfortable in making a final decision in what they are ordering. The site was clear and provided transparency to the shoppers. Customers will always want to know the details of their process when ordering online because the luxury of picking and feeling in person what they want is not available.
